VCS Curriculum Resources
The Villages Charter School is built upon a core set of curriculum standards - first and foremost are the Florida Sunshine Standards. We supplement those standards with national standards in areas not covered by the Sunshine State Standards. Listed below you will find dozens of online resources that we hope you will find helpful. Our goal is to offer high quality websites that can enrich our daily instruction and provide a place for students to get help, do research, and practice their skills. VCS Online Curriculum
The VCS online curriculum project contains all of the latest Florida state standards as well as standards for those courses that do not have state mandated curriculum. This project was funded by a state grant and we hope it is useful to schools across Florida, teachers, parents & students. To begin using, click the “VCS Online Curriculum Project” below. Once opened, you can select any subject area (e.g., Math) then any grade level / course (e.g., First Grade, Algebra I, etc.). Then you can export the course curriculum, see websites associated with the course benchmarks, see custom-made projects & resources.
