The Villages Charter School faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing VCS students to be successful, realizing their dreams in life. We are interested in performance driven educators that possess and implement The Villages Charter School core values.The VCS Central Office is now accepting teaching applications for all grade levels and subject areas for the 2008-09 school year.
Applicants must have a Florida Professional Certificate with endorsement in the appropriate area to comply with the “Highly Qualified” requirement of “No Child Left Behind”. Out of state teaching certificates may be considered if the applicant is in the process of applying for his/her Florida Teaching Certificate. A “Statement of Eligibility” from the Florida Department of Education is also acceptable.
Candidates with advanced degrees, National Board Certification and exemplary teaching experience are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Job Title: 2008-09 Physical Education Teacher Grades 5-8
Job Description: The Villages Middle School is looking for a certified physical education teacher to teach physical education to a combination of grade levels 5-8 and may include coaching responsibilities. A Florida physical education teaching certificate is preferred but will consider an individual who holds an out of state certificate and has applied for a Florida Teaching Certificate.

Candidates must have experience working with and supervising children, classroom management skills and position is responsible for own class of students and will provide creative arts and crafts, and recreational activities.
