Intermediate Center Media Center
We hope everyone had a wonderful fall break and are back and ready to learn! The next few weeks are going to be busy and fun, but filled with learning and reading! Before break we will be sending a note home explaining our Winter Break Reader program. Students will read over winter break, then on the first day back to school, will AR test on at least one book. If they pass that test with an 80% or higher, they will recieve a coupon to check out 3 books at one time, for one check out only. It was exciting to see how many students accomplished this and read over winter break last year. We can't wait to see how many read over winter break this year.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, or purchased books from our book fair before break. The book fair was a huge success, and we are able to purchase many new books with the proceeds from the book fair.

AR Book Find
A valuable tool to help figure out if a book is AR is www.arbookfind.com. www.arbookfind.com Please note: not all books and quizzes listed on this site are available at our media center for testing.
Parent PI Books
The Elementary Media Centers offer the following books that you may read and take AR tests on for Informational hours. I recommend you read them earlier in the year as they can be hard to find the closer we get to May! Please note: you must have a student enrolled in the Elementary School to read and test on these books for PI time. The media centers at the Middle and High Schools have books for parents of their students.
