SUMTER COUNTY LIBRARY CARD DRIVE
April 12-18 is National Library Week. To celebrate, we have teamed up with the Sumter County Public Library for a library card drive! Students who do not have a public library card from Sumter County have an opportunity during the month of April to sign up for a card. The card gives students access to all the resources available at any public library in Sumter County. You do not have to be a resident of Sumter County to apply for the card. Parents can fill out the application and return to your child’s classroom teacher by April 17th or you can take the application to any Sumter County library. Summer is fast approaching and our public library system is a great resource for you and your children to use during the summer months. The link to the Sumter County library is listed here if you want to check it out. If you need another application it is located at the bottom of the page as a PDF. http://.sumtercountylibrary.org
We did it!! Our kindergarten and first grade students have earned an amazing 20,000 plus points. We encourage everyone to keep on reading to see just how high we can go this year. We have earned a Field Day full of fun set for sometime in May. This events takes many volunteers so look for volunteer sign-ups soon!
