Primary Center Media Center
Welcome to the Primary Media Center Where We Are "Riding The Waves To Great Books"
On Friday, Oct. 31st, all students will have the opportunity to come to school dressed as their favorite character for a book! Here are some tips to help you and your child come up with a costume.
· The costume must be a character from a book.
· Students must bring a copy of the book that character is from the day of Book-O-Ween to carry during our parade.
· Full face masks, toy guns, swords, or weapons of any kind are not permitted for the safety of all.
· If your child’s costume restricts movement for PE, they will need to bring a uniform to change into.
· All students need to wear athletic shoes the day of Book-O-Ween, save special shoes for your events at home.
· Parents are invited to watch the parade, more info soon!
P I Opportunities
I have several volunteer opportunities available in the media center this month. If you have a few minutes or several hours to spare we can use the help. You can email or call me to schedule a time.
I accept gentle used book donations in the media center. Our policy is to issue 50% of the cost if the book is used, 100% if new or like new. You will receive PI as a dollar amount if I can use the books in the library.
As always if you have any questions feel free to contact me at 352-259-7700 or Karen.Bowersox@tvcs.org
