Welcome to Spanish to all my Second and Third graders!
Students will come to Spanish class twice a week for a very dynamic lesson that will focus on all four skills involved in learning a foreign language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
During the month of February, Second graders will round up our unit on occupations and places in the community; they have been working together to create mini-posters to show their "own" communities, and the project is looking fantastic!
Third graders will finish working on vocabulary on foods, how to express likes and dislikes, and how to order food at a restaurant. My third grade students did great with their role-playing at "El restaurante".
Please, check the PDF's below for more detailed information on our Grading Policy, Behavior Plan, and Special Areas Newsletter. Also, check the calendar section to find out what we are doing in Spanish class each week. PI opportunities will be posted on this webpage regularly, as well.
