It's hard to believe we are already into our 3rd month of school and at the end of our 1st nine Weeks. We have been working so hard together inside and out, of the classroom. Thank you for all of your collabortation and support at home. We couldn't be as successful or have as much fun without you. :)
A few reminders:
Field Trip Forms/Money is due. Please send this in ASAP to ensure that your child can attend this trip. Also, if you are interested in being placed in the drawing as a chaperone, make sure to have your volunteer application (2 pages) and photo ID turned in by Thursday, October 8th. The drawing will take place on Monday, October 12.
We would love for our parents to help us AR test in the mornings. Please let me know if you would be interested in helping us, M-F 7:30-8!5. A few parents have already begun helping us - THANK YOU!
Conferences will start in a few weeks. Please look for a slip in your child's binder so that you can turn in your preferred time/days for our meetings. If you have any questions before then please don't hesitate to contact me.
This month we will continue to build our fluency/comprehension in reading, and learn about addition/subtraction concepts in math. We will continue to rotate the weeks with science and social studies learning about a variety of topics including; motion, force, and objects in the sky. Please refer to our newsletter for specific topics we will focus on each week during the month.
I am enjoying each and every day with your fabulous children and I already feel like we have become a little "McKeever Family". I look forward to continue watching them learn and grow, in and out of the classroom. Please continue to contact me with any questions or concerns that come up. There are no "silly questions" and you will NEVER be bothering/inconveniencing me. I am not only here for your child, I am here for you. Anything I can do to help your child succeed, I will do, to the best of my ability.

Our classroom is in need of some miscellaneous items:
8pk small white poster board
Snacks (No peanut ingredients please)
Recycled Materials (That can be used for crafts/storage)
Other items that could be of good use in our classroom
All of these items can go toward PI time or will just be happily accepted into the classroom :) If you would like to volunteer in the classroom or help with things for the classroom at home, please do not hesitate to email me or write a note in your child's agenda. This is a big help for us :)
