April is here and spring has arrived. Your students are still working very hard and have just two short months left of Kindergarten. They have grown so much this year and I have been beyond blessed to be their teacher. I am so proud of all of my students. We are working hard to stay on task and follow directions. We are trying our best to be a good friend and kind to everyone. Please continue to encourage your child to be the best that they can be.
Everyone is doing a great job at completing homework. Please make sure your child is doing their best and using their best handwriting. Our class is really doing good at reading library books and returning them. Please remember to write the title and AR quiz number on the AR log if your child wants to take an AR quiz. Your child does not have to take an AR quiz on every book they read, however they can if they would like. Your child should be taking 2 quizzes a week so that they can successfully meet their AR goal.
Please be watching for important dates and events that are coming up. Make sure you put your conference date and time in your calendar. Everyday is important to be at school and ecspecially on days that we are scheduled to be testing. Please try to be on time to school on the scheduled testing dates April 21st and April 28th. I want your children to be prepared and to do the best that they can.
Please check on your parental involvement hours. If you are in need of PI make sure you are getting that taken care of soon. You don't want to wait until there is no time left. If you are still in need of PI time, starting April 25th, the on-line surveys will be available. You will have until May 9th to complete them. Your input is very much appreciated, so please take a moment and fill them out.
Thank you for your help and dedication to making this a successful school year.
