WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION!!!   THE FITNESS CHALLENGE IS HERE!!! We will be in motion in a variety of ways in our Physical Education classes.  It is always work, mixed with fun as we move and groove every day.  That's right....your child will have P.E. every day for 30 minutes.  Being prepared for Physical Education class means that your child is required to come with a smile on their face and their pockets filled with their BEST EFFORT as they participate.  Oh, and of course they will need sneakers on their feet and shorts under the girl's dresses and skirts.   Just a reminder that according to TVCS Uniform Policy, LEGGINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED under the skirts, but shorts/stockings/tights are allowed.

The SPARK curriculum is used here at the Primary Center and we change units every 2 to 3 weeks.  You can see an overview of what we will be covering for the week on Monday of the calendar below.  Please take time to check out the PDF files posted below.  Each month there is a SPARK "Home Connection" that has family activities that you can print out and "do" together.

Parents please check the PDF file on shoe lace tying that helps (with pictures) you to work with your child at home. They will need lots of practice, even if they know the steps. You can choose the "loop the loop", or the "bunny ears" method.  My personal favorite is "loop the loop", but either way is fine.  Students were asked to "double tie"after they have made the bow.  The trick to students tying their own shoes, is making the final product tight enough that the bow will stay tied.  PRACTICE!  PRACTICE!  PRACTICE!   Please make sure that their shoes fit properly and until they learn to tie, put a double knot in those laces so that they will stay tied all day.  Thanks so much!

Thanks so much  for coming to my website and for allowing me to teach your child.  I enjoy the time we spend together because they are just AWESOME KIDS!!!
