April 24-May 8th- TVCS Surveys open - please take a few minutes to do these suverys, your input is valuable! For the teacher survey you will find my name under "Miller-Stachler"
May 2nd: Teacher Appreciation Day :)
Buffalo PRIDE VCMS 6pm (last meeting of the year)
May 5th: All April Home Projects are due! and last day for AR, return ALL library books!
May 8th: Arts in the Park 6pm, bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on :)
May 12th: Pancake Breakfast for AR readers who made their persoanl goal
May 19th: End of Year Program, note will be sent home
April Home Project: We have been discussing natural resources in reading and science. Please help your child make a craft/art project using natural resources. It can be made of anything from nature- wood, plants, seeds, nuts, paper, cardboard, rocks, shells, metal, clay, etc. They may paint, color or add items to decorate and add details to their art. The children will show their project and share the natural resource used with the class. They will be given an oral presentation and listening performance grade for the presentation. Projects are due any time before Friday, May 5th. Thank you!

AR: Your boys and girls are doing a great job AR testing. Please remember your child should be testing weekly on books brought home from the library. We have classroom volunteers to help with testing on Friday, so those are great days to have a test ready for your child to take! Your child's goal is 15 pts. and 80 % comprehension by May.
Snacks: Please remember to send a healthy snack each day for your child! Thank you!
Uniforms Reminder: Students must wear approved VCS outterwear to school. Undershirts must be white or match color to Polo (i.e. blue polo, blue undershirt) . Please write your childs name inside jackets & sweaters!
