For fun practice, click on my link for https://www.spellingcity.com/Debbystachler/ Of course, continue to practice for the 100 Word Wall and practicing writing sentences.Our letters for March will be Jj, Qq, Yy & Zz, review Uu, Gg, Ww, Vv, & Xx. In math we are continuing the concepts of addition &Subtraction.Help your child with these skills, since this is a foundation for all algebraic thinking.
Homework: Monday-Thursday, due Friday. Please make sure you practice through your child's weekly homework and reading every night, by checking their comprehension. Things you can work with your child: rhyming skills, letter sounds, counting to 100, sight words, reading CVC words, segmenting & blending words (cat is /c/-/a/-/t/), listen for beginning and ending sounds in words. Make it fun! with games; see if they can come up with words to quiz you. Make flash cards together is a classic but useful tool.

PI Opportunities!Please email or send a note in agenda, if you can help....We can always use help in the classroom or from home with creating projects for us to use. Then at school, in the media center there is Box Tops that need to be counted, and in the cafeteria or library need extra hands or check with VCS sporting events.
