Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
We start off the month with a song and lots of rhyming words as we
celebrate the birthday of one of the Primary Center’s most beloved authors and
illustrators. On March 6th,
we will celebrate “Read Across America Day”.
Students are encouraged to dress up in mixed-up clothes that day. There will be plenty of Dr. Seuss stories and
fun activities to go along with the celebration!
Our field trip is on Monday, March 9th and school
will be closed on Friday, March 13th for a teacher professional
day. Because of the short week, we won’t
have a reading or spelling test.
Spring Break also begins in March. School will be closed from March 30 – April
3. I hope everyone enjoys their break!
Finally, on March 20th the 3rd report
cards for the third-nine weeks will be sent home. It is so difficult to believe that we are
three-fourths of the way through the school year. Boy, have we been busy!
I am so
fortunate to be a partner with you in your child’s education. Please contact me if you ever have a comment,
question or concern. I’m always
available at some time throughout the day and I promise to get back with you
promptly. Thanks for all you do to
support your children’s education at home!
