Dear Kindergarten Families,

Welcome to April! We will going on our Field trip to the Orlando Repertory Theater on Monday, April 6th. Please have your child wear their green shirt. There will also be a Pancake Breakfast in May to celebrate our AR reading goal being met.  All children who have reached their goal of 15 points with 80% comprehension will get to participate. What a fun way to celebrate some awesome reading!!!!

Our math skills for this month will be reviewing and getting ready for first grade. We will be working on our numbers to 100.  If your child has not made it to the 100 club yet, continue working with them.  They must be able to count to 100 by 1's, 5's and 10's unassisted.

In science and social studies we will be working on light and heat, matter and how it changes and taking care of our Earth.

*******If you are still in need of PI, please let me know.  We have box tops that need to be counted.  You can earn PI for this at home :) ********

Thank you for your continues support!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Henderson
