I would like to extend an invitation to you and your child to walk over to The Villages Middle School to meet with Mrs. Kordus and Mr. Davey (the middle school ESE teachers) on Tuesday, May 17th.
We plan to leave the 4th and 5th Grade Center at 3:00 as a group. At 3:05 we will meet in the room of Mrs. Kordus and Mr. Davey and have a question and answer session about middle school life for students who will receive services from these teachers. We are expecting this to last until 3:45, and then we will walk back. Students without parents accompanying them will go into Buffalo Adventures upon return, unless the parent is at the 4th & 5th Grade Center to pick them up.
Please respond by sending the lower portion of this letter back with the appropriate statement marked letting me know whether parents, child, or both will take advantage of this opportunity to meet our two great ESE teachers at VCMS.
Thank you for all your support!
This note was sent home with students on Friday, May 6th. If you need another copy to send in for a confirmation, please see the PDF documents below.
Thank you to all the parents who attended the Buffalo Pride break-out sessions tonight, especially those who attended the session that I hosted on "Love Languages and Learning Styles". You were so kind and appreciative! I wish that we would've had more time to talk about learning styles, but I think learning about love languages and how they can affect our family was meant to be our focus tonight.
As promised, here is a link to the PDF of the CITE inventory PDF that you can do with your child(ren) to discover their learning style. If you have any questions about the quiz, how to interpret it, or ideas on how to better cater to their learning style, please contact me. I would love to talk further with you about this subject.
