March 2-6, 2015

On Friday, March 6th, we are recognizing the accomplishments of Dr. Suess with Mixed-Up Friday. Students may wear their clothing all mixed up! Suggestions are inside out, backwards, two different socks/shoes (both shoes need to be athletic shoes). Even though this is a dress-down day, clothing must be school appropriate.

The Intermediate Book Fair we be held from Friday, March 6th until Wednesday, March 11th. Our Family Shopping event will take place from 3:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11th.More information will be coming home this week in your child's red folder.

 

The Buffalo PRIDE Break-Out Sessions will be held on March 3rd at the Villages High School from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Just a reminder that all MOSI field trip consent forms and payment are due no later than Thursday, March 19th.

  

PI Opportunity: Our art teacher Mrs. Czulada is looking for a parent that would like to cut out labels and stick them to black construction paper for the Art Show. Please let me know if interested.

Please sign your child's AR Tracking Sheet that is located in the plastic sleeve of your child's red take home folder.

I have placed my Open House powerpoint presentation below as a PDF document. 

Usernames and Passwords for Connected and ThinkCentral have been placed on labels and can be found in the front of your child's agenda! You now can access to our Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies books and online materials. I will attach directions below for each as a PDF. If you are having any difficulty accessing these materials online at home, please let me know.

Please initial all of your child's homework after you have reviewed each assignment for completeness, accuracy and neatness. Agenda planners need to be initialed on a daily basis after all homework assignments have been completed and checked.

Math Facts: This week we will focus on mastering multiplication facts (9's). Students will practice 25 multiplication facts in class Monday-Thursday (timed for 1 minute).  Friday's fact assessment will be taken for a grade.
