The first month of school is just about done, and I cannnot believe how much your children have grown already. We will continue to strengthen and learn skills that will make them successful this year. Attached you will find my Septemeber Newsletter that will give you important information regarding classroom and school events. It will also provide you with our instructional focus for the next month.
As we move further along into the year the students' math work will become more challenging. Please help your child master their math skills by reviewing their homework with them every night. This will ensure that they are practicing the skills correctly both at school, and then at home during homework. It is crucial for them to be consistently using their higher order thinking skills during their homework. As stated during Open House, if your child is unable to complete the classwork in school it will then become homework. This should also be checked by you prior to them submitting it for completion the next day.
I appreciate your continued help and support I truly appreciate your time and effort to help your child be successful this year!
