Our main focus will be melody and reviewing note values.
Family Musical Moment. The week of February 17-23rd in music class we will listen to a patriotic march called The Stars and Stripes Forever composed by John Philip Sousa. We activated the
experience with a flag routine. The instructional focus includes Steady Beat and Form. Share a musical moment with your child by downloading

To tie in with our STOMP Out Bullying program we arel singing "Don't Laugh At Me" which can be found in PDFs.
The Villages Charter School Elementary Choir (2-5 graders) will be performing a Patriotic performance at Brownwood Paddock Square Wednesday, March 2nd at 5:45. Student arrival is no later than 5:30. Red, white or blue uniform school shirt.

Shake Rattle and Roll is an exciting fun movement group in Buffalo Adventures that is open to all students. We do a variety of activites each week. We will also learn how to make the choir "look good" with our special touch of flags and streamers! Wednesdays 3:45-4:45
Small group/semi private vocal lessons from a professional singer (Mrs. Britton is still a performer) in Buffalo Adventures. Using traditional and technology methods to improve pitch and performance. 4/5 building Thursdays 3:45-4:45
