I enjoyed seeing you and teaching you a tubano ensemble lesson at the Intermediate Specials Parent night. Thursday, January 15th 6-7:30.
We are learning about step, leap and repeat in a melody. We applied that knowledge to a cowboy song "Lone Star Trail" and learned to play the first line of Jingle Bells on the xylophones and metallophones. We are actively learning how to play the autoharp accompaniment to "Lone Star Trail"
We learned about Dr. Martin Luther King and sang a song about him. February is Black History Month and we will learn about a singer CeCe Winans.
In our school's Project Wisdom they mentioned Mozart so we are learned about this child prodigy. We watched one of his most famous operas "The Magic Flute" in German!
Intermediate Choir on Tuesdays 3:30-4:30 4/5 Choir Fridays 3:30-4:30. Starting to book Patriotic shows. Also working on a Character Development program for the end of the year.
Shake Rattle and Roll is an exciting fun movement group in Buffalo Adventures that is open to all students. We do a variety of activites each week. We will also learn how to make the choir "look good" with our special touch of flags and streamers! Wednesdays 3:30-4:30
