It's hard to believe we are in the final 9 weeks of the school year and our students' final time as Elementary School students! We will continue to work very hard in this last 9 weeks, as we prepare for Middle School and take our FSA exams. They are sure to shine and show all that they have learned!
Please make sure that your child continues to read nightly and records their reading in their log. This is graded weekly. We want to make sure every student meets their personal AR goal this final 9 weeks. I know they can do it, but we also need your help to monitor their progress and sign their log nightly.
Encourage your child to also study spelling nightly. As the words get more difficult, more practice is needed! Homework is required for students who score below a 90 each week and must be turned in by Friday.
We are learning in Unit 5 in Social Studies on the American Revolution.
Students will have a States Test at the end of the week of April 24. They must study Monday-Wednesday night that week and get their study paper signed for a Homework grade.
