Unit 2 in Reading will continue this week with a study of Fables, along with a Selection Test on "Wolf, Wolf!" on Friday. I have placed the spelling words for this week along with the vocabulary words on spellingcity.com/mrsmccray/. We will continue Chapter 3 in Math and we will start Unit 10 in Science (Basic Needs and Environments).
I am so proud of all the hard work the kiddos are giving in the classroom! They are truly a joy to see and work with every day!
**Sumter County Molar Coaster**
Paperwork for this great dental program was sent home on Friday and is due this coming Friday, October 2nd. The actual program will take place sometime in the spring.
**Medieval Times Field Trip**
Don't forget that the chaperone lottery is October 15th, so if you're interested in being entered into the lottery, please turn in the small slip at the bottom of the letter no later than October 14th. All paperwork and payments are due no later than October 23rd. You can find all the field trip paperwork and Volunteer Applications down at the bottom with the PDF documents. Please make sure you initial the 2nd page and also include a copy of your driver's license with your volunteer app!
