SUMMER BIRTHDAYS: If your child has a summer birthday, your child will have an opportunity to celebrate on a day of your choosing in either April or May. I also have a summer birthday, so I remember how it felt when students celebrated during the school year in Kindergarten. Parents may send me an email about a desired date.
TRIP: Our second
field trip will be to the Orlando Repertory Theater was a wonderful success, and the students were able to meet one of the actors in the performance as well! Thank you to the parents as well for a great job helping the students throughout the day.
HOMEWORK: A packet will typically be
put in your child's binder for Monday- Thursday homework. Please have your
child complete one activity each day.

words on the 100 Club List. Baggie books are sent home on Mondays and must
be returned each week by Thursday to participate in this take-home book class

SHOE TYING: Kindergarten students are expected to be able to tie their own shoes by this point in the school year. If your child requires more time and opportunity to master this skill, please practice nightly to prepare for First Grade.
