SELF HELP: It is winter in Florida, so please make sure that your child wears a
VCS uniform jacket or sweatshirt to school every day. Your child also needs one
healthy snack in addition to lunch every day. Make sure you review the Student
Handbook at the front of your child’s planner for answers to uniform and hair
appearance questions, or contact me anytime! At this time of the year, at home
practice with shoe tying and fastening and unfastening belts is very important,
so that students may eventually demonstrate this skill at school independently,
and prepare for First Grade.
The agenda planner is also where you can write me a note about any changes with
dismissal, share a comment, or any question that you may want to ask me. Please
make sure to let me know whether your child is going to be at car line or
participate in Aftercare each day. If your child is absent, please send in a
note explaining the reason for the absence for me to submit to the Main Office.
Please remember also to arrive to school on time. Your child loves to enter our
classroom promptly at 7:35am with all their other classmates!
