Our Kindergarten class invites you to attend an End of Year Awards Program on Wednesday, May 20th at 1:30 until 2:15. The students will celebrate by singing songs, receiving awards and having a special snack together! All Kindergarten family members are welcome! Your wonderful children have worked so hard this year!

MONTH NEWS: Please read the MAY Newsletter in the link below for important information. The Pancake Breakfast, Field Day and End of Year Program will be coming in May, so check the newsletter and planner for important dates. Congratulations to our class for reaching 15 AR points and 85% comprehension to ALL students in our class! All students will be eligible to attend the Pancake Breakfast! What a wonderful achievement!
SUMMER BIRTHDAYS: If your child has a summer birthday, your child will have an opportunity to celebrate on a day of your choosing in MAY. I also have a summer birthday, so I remember how it felt when students celebrated during the school year in Kindergarten. Parents may send me an email about a desired date.
HOMEWORK: A packet will typically be
put in your child's binder for Monday- Thursday homework. Please have your
child complete one activity each day.
encourage success in Kindergarten, please help your child memorize the sight
words on the 100 Club List. BAGGIE BOOKS have been discontinued for the remainder of the year to enable time to do a classroom inventory and make sure that all books have been returned.

Kindergarten students are expected to be able to tie their own shoes, and manage belts independently by this point in the school year. If your child requires more time and opportunity to master these skills, please practice over the summer to prepare for First Grade.
