Literature Anthology (Close Reading)- Alligators and Crocodiles

Paired Read: (Compare Text)- The Monkey and the Crocodile

Genre: Folktale

Phonics/Fluency: r- controlled Vowel Syllables/Latin Suffixes


Vocabulary Words-  (Unit 6 Week 4) Can be located in your child's binder and as a PDF below. 

Spelling Words-  (Unit 6 Week 4) Can be located in your child's agenda planner and as a PDF below. 

Math- Getting Ready for Grade 4. Lessons 12-15.

Math Facts: This week we will focus on multiplication facts (0-12's).   Friday's fact assessment will be for a grade.

 

Writing:  Opinion Writing (Pros and Cons)- Main Idea Essay and Conclusion (School Uniforms/Roller Coasters)

 

Social Studies- Unit 4 government
