Welcome to physical education at The Villages Charter School. This year I will be working at both the Primary Center and the Intermediate Center where your child will reach new heights in the world of physical education.

Primary Center:  We are starting the month of September by beginning out fitness pre-testing. Students will be tested in five different events: push ups, curl ups, sit and reach, shuttle run and quarter mile run. These tests are designed to measure students muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, speed, agility, and cardiovascular endurance. 

Intermediate Center: As we begin September at the Intermediate Center, we are continuing our throwing and catching unit. Students will be able to apply what they have learned about overhand and underhand throwing to a variety of games such as pin ball, eight down, and newcomb volleyball.
