Dear parents, students, and family, 

                                 I hope that everyone had a wonderful break and a Happy Thanksgiving. I am sure that you were able to make some fantastic memories with family and friends. Hopefully the children are well rested and ready to get back into the swing of things. I have missed them and can't wait to hear all about their time off!

                                A huge thank you to those of you that helped out on our field trip to Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament.  I know the children had a great time and had a lot of fun!

                                Please make sure students are underlining and numbering the reading passage homework, this helps students go back and look through the text support their answers. This is a great skill to reinforce nightly because it is a skill we stress daily in the classroom. We will be continuing nightly math assignments as well that review the lesson students worked on that day in the classroom.  Please make sure you are checking their homework nightly by placing your initials on the top of their papers. 

                                The daily homework, among other important information, is listed below on my calendar.  Spelling words for the week are listed on the calendar.  Though homework for spelling will not be required nightly, it will be important for you and your child to review the spelling words for their spelling test on Friday.
