Physical Science 1, Physical Science 1 Honors, AP Physics, and Physics

Dear Parents and Guardians,

My name is Ralph Seurattan and I will be your child's teacher this year for one of these subjects: Physical Science 1, Physical Science 1 Honors, AP Physics, and Physics. Physics and Physical Science is my passion. I am committed to helping each one of my students develop a love, respect and appreciation for Physics and Physical Science concepts. Physics and Physical Science is not only important school subjects, but more particularly important subjects for life. Therefore, I will ensure that I present Physics and Physical Science practically and with application to real world situations.

In order to ensure that your student does well in class, please be sure that he/she comes prepared each and every day. Assignments will be posted on my monthly calendar and will be checked. Therefore, time, interest and commitment must be given to each assignment. My students will be quizzed and tested regularly to ensure they are understanding the concepts and the skills that are being taught. I am always available to them for extra help whenever it is needed or requested.

Please feel free to use my website which will give you information about this class. You can also contact me by email. My goal is to provide your child with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that he/she needs to be successful this school year.

I am looking forward to working with you and your student this school year. I would ask your cooperation so that your child will come prepared to class and ready to learn each day. I have high expectations for each of my students and will hold them accountable to do their best and to be their best at all times.

If your child is giving time, commitment and dedication to his/her studies, he or she will succeed and we will enjoy a productive year ahead. Let us work together to ensure that Physical Science 1/Physical Science 1 Honors/Physics/AP Physics and success are synonymous. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Mr. Ralph Seurattan
