Spanish 1: Until Thanksgiving we will be working on chapter 2.1. This includes learning how to conjugate AR verbs in the present tense, telling time, counting from 1-100, the verb TENER (ownership), tener que (obligation) and classroom vocabulary and subjects. Our cultural focus is Mexico.
Spanish 2: We are wrapping up chapter 2.1 and will test on Friday(11-7) or Monday (11-10), depending on how this week progresses. Chapter 2.2 is a continuation of Argentina, reflexive verbs present and preterit, and the present progressive tense. Vocabulary is parts of the body, personal care items and all the reflexive verbs. This chapter will continue into the first week of December.
SPN 1120: This week we begin chapter 5. This chapter includes reflexive verbs, adjectives of equality and vocabulary will include personal items associated with reflexive verbs. Chapter 5 will be finished and tested before our Fall break. Final exam written essays are due no later than Midnight November 28...to be submitted through LSSC e-mail ONLY!
