Mrs. Marisa Colyer « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar

Welcome to my Teacher Connection page.  Below you will find topics we are currently investigating, helpful links, and important dates for Anatomy & Physiology, Anatomy & Physiology Honors, and Biology.

ALL SCIENCE STUDENTS:

Science students will be challenged to study the world around them by making observations and explaining those observations according to scientific principles.  A first semester project, where each student participates in independent scientific inquiry is a course requirement. Students will have the option to submit their project electronically (PowerPoint presentation, binder on a flash drive, classroom presentation) or traditionally (science fair board, hard copy of binder, and INTEL ISEF forms and present at the school science fair in November). Students who chose to present their project in the traditional format will receive an extra assignment grade worth 100 points for each fair they attend and advance to beginning with our school fair.

All assignments marked Anatomy refer to both Anatomy and Honors unless otherwise noted.

A&P:  We are currently working on Chapter 5 The Integumentary System.  Please keep in mind the Science Research Project Dates.
