In Spanish I, we are concentrating on learning how to express our likes and dislikes about common activities and foods. We have begun to learn about subject pronouns and common verbs and how they work together to create complete sentences. We will also be exploring the Spanish-speaking cultures within the U.S.
In Spanish III, we have begun our new chapter on camping, hiking, and outdoor activities with a concentration on the culture of Mexico. We have learned all of our camping terms and will now describe camping trips that we have taken, the things we like about nature, and our favorite outdoor activities. Our focus will be on narrating stories in the past tense using the preterite tense.
