                           PRINCIPAL’S BULLETIN BOARD MESSAGE

June 2008

Dear Parents,

The 2007-08 school year has come to a close.  It was a very successful year!  I could try to re-cap the year, but this past week sums up what we all accomplished during these past several months.

Congratulations to our students who were recognized this past week at the 5th, 6th, and 7th Grade Awards Ceremony.  As they look forward to next year here at theCharter Middle School, I wish them continued success.  They are all very special.

Congratulations to our 8th Grade students who were recognized with special awards and received certificates at the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony.  These students have been wonderful to work with as they have grown in so many ways during their middle school experience.  The Charter Middle School Class of 2008 is extremely well-prepared for their high school years and I wish them great success in all their endeavors.  They, too, are special people on a mission to do great things.

Congratulations to our teachers, staff, and administrative team.  Working together, we have done our very best in serving our young people and their parents.  I commend all of our teachers, staff, as well as my two vice-principals, Mrs. Cowart and Mr. Dreher, for their outstanding efforts.  Great job!

I want to congratulate and thank our parents.  All of us at the Charter Middle School are grateful for your trust in having your son or daughter attend our school.  I want to thank you for all you do for your children for without your love, care, and concern they could not be developing in the fine manner they are to become responsible and successful adults.

Finally, I want to say “Thank You” for your support for me throughout this school year.  It has been an honor to serve the students, parents, teachers, and staff of the Charter Middle School.  I close with one of my favorite quotes: “Working together, we can – and will – do great things!”  I am confident that this is what has occurred this year and I wish even better things for the future.

GO BUFFALO!
