Mr. Robert Trifu « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar

Welcome to 7th Grade Civics and Economics! Brace yourself for a challenging year of what I hope will contain many positive educational experiences for you. By the end of this school year, you will have gained considerable knowledge and will be able to see the world more clearly so that the impact you will make upon it will have greater significance. I am looking forward to sharing this year with you and helping you succeed not only in this course, but in life as well - as you apply what you will learn to many of life's situations and better yourself as well as society.

There will be a Ch. 5 Test on Tuesday, 9/30. Students have already received a study guide for this and it is also attached below in pdf format. During the month of October, we will be simulating a presidential election campaign for each class, and by the end of the month students will have elected a president and vice president for their class. We are also continuing our study of the Constitution with an examination of the most significant amendments that were passed since its ratification.

Lesson Topics and Assignments will be posted weekly on the calendar. I will also post pdf files of various items for students (study guides, homework and project rubrics) made available below.

The textbook web site can be accessed through the following link: http://connected.mcgraw-hill.com/connected/login.do
