Mrs. Gretchen Reardon « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar

Fellow Scientists,

During the month of October, we will continue our study of both plant and animal cells. Students will be able to describe and explain the functions of each organelle that makes up both plant and animal cells. Our cell unit will end with an explanation of how cells divide through the process of mitosis.  Later this month, we will begin our in-depth study of the human body.  Advanced science students are diligently working on their science fair projects. Please refer to the calendar below for important due dates. Science fair will be here before we know it.

Below, you will also find PDF files of the notes that we take in class and the learning goals for the chapter that we are currently covering. Learning goals packets are given the day we start each chapter and are due the day we take the chapter test along with chapter vocabulary.
