No more new root words! This week will be reviewing all the roots we have studied.
Monday and Tuesday the students will be completing a web quest on the plight of elephants as we continue with the article, "How to Save a Baby Elephant."
Thursday is the last cold read and the last chance for students to earn an owl. Their creativity with the owls has amazed me!
UPDATE: There will NOT be a quiz on Friday! Instead we are going to review the words that are going to be on the final .
Reading Final is TUESDAY December 16. The list of words to study is on my webpage as list for reading final.
There is no assigned book for this class and no daily homework. However each week our class will have a root of the week. On Monday, each student will get a list of 10 words that all contain the same root. We will study the words during the week with the quiz on Friday. Students will need to study their list for the quiz on Friday. A complete list of the root words can be found on my website as a PDF file.(Look under SECOND nine week root word lists.)
