Below you will find the dates for the chapter quizzes and test. Please make sure your child is studying the study guides that I provide for each quiz and test; I have also attached a chapter summary below. Students also have access to the online textbook that has practice games, charts, notes, and videos to help them as well.
Students have the opportunity to earn extra credit each nine weeks. Students are required to select a Current Event article and summarize the story in their own words under the connection section of the worksheet. Please include the article with the extra credit form. The forms for the extra credit are attached to the PDF documents on my Teacher Connection page below.Extra Credit is due by May 8th.

will focus on World History beginning around 8000 B.C. up to A.D. 1500. We will begin our studies by discussing what
historians do and the influences geography has on the way people live. Next we will delve into the early ages,
starting with early humans, Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, the Israelites, Ancient
Greeks, Ancient India, early China, Roman civilization, and the Americas.
