March 2017

During March, American History students will continue to focus on the expansion of the United States.  At the beginning of the month, students will investigate how the Industrial Revolution began to change society in the United States, and caused further divisions between the cultures of New England, the South, and the West.  By the end of the month, we will investigate the Jacksonian Era and the policies of the United States toward Native Americans.

Any rising 8th grade or 7th grade student interested in learning more about the upcoming trips to Washington D.C. and Charlottesville are invited to go to the Field Trips page.
