As principal, I am pleased to welcome you to The Villages High School information page. This website will introduce you to a wonderful and exciting school of intense learning where the staff constantly challenges its students to excel in the classroom and in life.
The Villages High School’s demanding courses and programs prepare its graduates for the post-secondary setting along with the world of work. Alongside the courses necessary to be successful in the educational world, The Villages High School has twenty-four (24) varsity sports for our student-athletes along with many clubs and fine arts programs and activities to round out the total educational experience.
Through our Advanced Studies Academy students may qualify for dual enrollment courses on our campus. VHS offers 79 college semester hours in Math, Science, Music, English, Social Studies, Business and Spanish. Students work with the Early College Site Manager at The Villages High School to fulfill the Associates Degree requirements through Lake Sumter State College.
AP (Advanced Placement) courses are offered in Music Theory (11-12), Physics (11-12), Language & Comp (11-12), World History (10), US History (11), Government (12) and Statistics (12). Students who score a 3, 4 or 5 on the AP exam may qualify for college credits depending on the institution they attend.
Challenging our students is what The Villages High School does best! The support that parents give their students and the school is outstanding and very much appreciated.
Please call the enrollment office at 352-259-6848 to see if your child(ren) qualifies for an exciting and inviting school of exceptional learning.
