Planning on Playing Sports in College?

Every student who plans on pursuing their passion for sports at the college level must be officially registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse before he/she can be recruited. Students must register online and pay the registration fee with a credit card or e-check. After registering, you will be prompted to print out a records release to sign and return to our school so that we can send an official copy of your transcript to the NCAA Clearinghouse.

FAFSA (Federal Financial Aid)

Students and parents can submit their FAFSA online after January 1st.

Apply for your required pin number first.  They are considered your electronic signature and will not expire.  Do not lose or forget it.  Safeguard it and never share with others.

Students can check their status for each of the three Bright Futures Scholarships as well as their status for admission into the state university system by going to the FACTS.ORG

and using the following directions:

1) On FACTS.org homepage, use the link on the left hand side “High School Planning” and then “High School Academic Evaluations”.

2) Scroll down the page until you see “New Student User? Create login ID and password.” Click on this link.

3) In the drop down menu for district choose “Sumter”

4) Fill out all the information on this page. Use the student Social Security number (if at all possible) instead of the Florida Student Identifier. If you need your Florida Student Identifier, please contact the high school.
